Nicola began teaching in 1987, the same year that she won the World Ballet Championship.
She is qualified with: Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing instructor. (ISTD – Dance examinations Board) & International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).
Nicola Rodmell has been teaching performing arts for over 30 years, with pupils achieving the highest awards all over the UK.
Nicola Rodmell founded the Dance School in 1990, offering classes and exams in Ballet, Modern, & Jazz, ISTD – IDTA.
Pupils have moved on to local productions and West End shows. Pupils have gone on to study at the Royal Ballet School, Central School of Ballet, Laine Theatre Arts and many more.
The Nicola Rodmell School of Performing Arts takes great pride in being a family run organisation. It sustains a warm and friendly environment in which each pupil is encouraged to develop their creative and artistic style, reach their personal goals, or to progress as a professional.
